Do you understand what your health insurance deductible is?

When I speak to people who are shopping for individual health insurance online, their first question is, "how much is your deductible?" On most individual health insurance plans the deductible is your yearly out of pocket amount before your coverage kicks in. For example, if you have a $1,500 deductible and you have a hospital stay and the bill is $30,000, you would be responsible for your $1,500 deductible before your selected co-insurance would kick in.
The advantage of working with a health insurance broker is that I can offer plans that fit your specific health insurance needs.
